Elevating the Conference Experience
Earlier this year, I spent three days in Bar Harbor, Maine photographing the conference and event spaces at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center. The project focused entirely on their meeting and banquet rooms—capturing multiple layout styles, thoughtful details, and the natural light that makes each space feel open and inviting.
As a hospitality photographer working throughout New England, I specialize in helping hotels and resorts market their event spaces with clean, polished visuals that attract planners and guests alike.
What We Captured
Each room was staged in a variety of formats including banquet, classroom, theater, U-shape, and square layouts. My goal was to make each configuration feel spacious, organized, and easy to envision for a wide range of potential uses—from corporate retreats to elegant dinners.
Bass Harbor – Theater Style
Seal Harbor – U-Shape Configuration
Northeast Harbor – Banquet with Bistro Lighting
Southwest Harbor – Square Setup with Coffee Station
Hulls Cove – “Meet & Eat” Setup
From the Client:
“Your photos represent the space in the best possible way, making space that can often feel stuffy—feel open and airy. The lighting is stunning. The Events team is already sharing them with prospects.”
— Rachel L. Crater, Director of Marketing, Witham Hotels
Why These Photos Matter
Visuals like these are a vital part of hospitality marketing. They give potential clients a clear picture of what a space can look like for their event—and help differentiate properties in a competitive market. These photos now serve as part of the hotel’s visual library across their website, brochures, and sales outreach.
