Vibrant Ocean-Inspired Kitchen

My latest project with Mari Woods Kitchen/Bath/Home introduced me to a kitchen where color and style create a vibrant, inviting space.

What caught my eye first was this kitchen’s use of aqua green, verging on turquoise, for the cabinets. This choice not only brings a sense of tranquility and freshness to the space but also creates a stunning contrast with the bright white countertops. The bronze hardware adds a touch of elegance, while the brown leather seats introduce a rustic, earthy element, perfectly balancing the vibrant aqua tones.

This color, combined with high-end Wolf appliances, ensures the kitchen is not only beautiful but also highly functional for any culinary enthusiast. The appliances’ sleek design and advanced features complement the kitchen's aesthetic, adding a touch of modern luxury.

The kitchen also features a beautiful stone floor that adds a natural, textured element, grounding the vibrant colors and enhancing the overall aesthetic. The combination of the stone floor with the aqua cabinets creates a harmonious blend of natural and vibrant elements.

Lighting played a crucial role in capturing the true essence of this kitchen. The gentle glow from the pendant lights enhances the warm tones of the bronze hardware and leather seats, creating an inviting atmosphere. The large windows allow natural light to flood the space, highlighting the aqua cabinets and making the kitchen feel open and airy.

The wet bar with wine fridge was particularly fun to shoot, with us trying to stage the perfect cocktail into the shot. If I remember correctly, we settled on spiced rum in the high-ball glasses! This shot also really showed off the size and scale of the kitchen with its exceptional island.

Thank you to Mari’s assistant, who enthusiastically agreed to jump and be our model for the shoot. This added a lively, dynamic element to the photographs, capturing the energy and vibrancy of the space.
